Informasi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru
Student admissions for Master’s Program in Biomanagement are organized in accordance with the regulation set by the School of Graduate Programs at ITB (institution level), Quality Assurance Unit at the faculty level, and Master’s Program in Biomanagement.
Requirements and registration procedures are as follow:
- Having a bachelor’s degree and certificate from an accredited university (minimum B) from any academic discipline, including social sciences and humanities.
- Prospectus coming from a C-accredited bachelor’s program will need to undergo and pass a pre-Master program.
- Prospectus coming from a research-based Diploma 4 program can be considered to continue on to this program.
- Fulfilling English proficiency requirement with score as follows:
- TOEFL iBT (Internet Based Test) with a minimum score of 56, or
- TOEFL CBT (Computer Based Test) with a minimum score of 151, or
- TOEFL ITP with a minimum score of 475, or
- IELTS with a minimum score of 5, or
- ELPT ITB with a minimum score of 77
- Fulfilling the requirement of TPA BAPPENAS with a minimum score of 475.
- Taking an online registration through usm.itb.ac.id
- Pass academic selection test and interview at the Master’s Program in Biomanagement.
Every year, Master’s Program in Biomanagement schedules two enrolment periods for new students:
- Odd Semester Enrolment Period (classes start in August)

The selection process in Master’s Program in Biomanagement puts emphases on Academic Potential Test, English proficiency test (TOEFL/ELPT), academic test, and interviews.
Academic test and interview are organized by the program in a given set of time. Academic test focuses on multidisciplinary areas: basic concepts in biology, business and management, and environmental sciences. Interviews put emphases on how much the prospectus knows about Biomanagement, on their topic interests, and their readiness to undergo the program over the next two years.
